Trog Bar Rocked
The feedback from the Hull Deep Purple Family Tree has been immense - the bands had a cracking time. Here's a couple of items from Facebook
Trog Bar Tribute Band Night WOW.....JUST WOW. probably 3 of the best vocalists we have had the pleasure of playing for us at the trog bar gigs...simply awesome.
THE BLACKMORE LEGACY
got things started and did rainbow / Blackmore proud with an awesome 1 hour plus set of classics, professional musicianship at its best. Get along to see this band if you get the chance.
PURE PURPLE up next and absolutely smashed it. considering they borrowed keyboards and lead guitar from T.B.L to stand in ,the set was just about flawless and child in time was fantastic, hairs on the back of neck job...and great crowd singalong, another band to see again if you get the chance.
Pocket rocket Colin Whizz-kid Robinson then ended the evening with his band LOVEHUNTER to smash over an hour of Whitesnake anthems. They had the crowd rockin and rollin for their second time with us in Hull...always a pleasure. Great lads off stage as well as on the stage, see you again soooon.
MASSIVE THANKS TO ALL BANDS. other thank- yous go to O'Rileys staff, Darren Bunting and co. ITSL sound...Steve Buckle on lighting..DJ Shaun Hudson, photographer Andy Bailey..Julie Marshall for sandwiches and help on door, Darran Crowther at Disc Discovery for helping sell tickets. and most of all, Hull rock crowd for again buying a ticket and turning up in big numbers to keep these gigs working.. Cheers Steve

Just a quick thank you to everyone who came down to O'Rileys in Hull on Saturday to watch The Blackmore Legacy and the Deep Purple Family Tree. Also, massive thanks to Pure Purple for asking me and James to stand in ('Child In Time': wow!). I hope we did you proud. And to Lovehunter for reminding me why I love Whitesnake (how good were 'Forevermore' and 'Judgement Day'?).
Awesome thanks to the venue and crew for great sound and lights and dealing with my diva monitor-needs. Here's a truckload of photos by Andy Bradley.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came out to see us all and made us feel so welcome. We hope to be back soon \m/ <3 B-) xxx
